Mysuru: Unnathi, a city-based organisation, is hosting a musical evening ‘Raaga Aarogya-2’ on Nov.23 (Saturday) at 6 pm at Kalamandira.
Music plays a very vital role in human well-being. From entertainment to spiritual enhancement, the role of music is undeniable. It is an age-old fact that music is therapeutic and has the power to heal many sicknesses.
Noted playback singer Shreeharsha of SaReGaMaPa-fame will be presenting various ragas, along with their benefits on health. Raaga Aarogya-2 will present different formats of music through Kritis-Keerthanas, Daasapada, Bhaavageethe, Folk songs and selected raga-based film hits.
Raaga Aarogya-2 will also have eminent Consultant Cardiologist Dr. N.S. Rajendra, who would educate the audience about the truths and myths of heart care.
H. Chennappa, Assistant Director, Kannada and Culture and Srihari Dwarakanath, Founder, GSS Foundation, will be the chief guests of the event.
