Mysuru: Surabhi Ganakala Mandira, Mysuru, has organised a lecture-demonstration ‘Raaga Darshana’ on Saturday (Sept. 23) at Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama auditorium, V.V. Mohalla, at 6 pm.
This Raaga Darshana, being 4th in the series, is an attempt to bring out the beauty of the Raaga, Reethigoula in all its colours and hues. The students of Vidushi Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar are going to elucidate the specialities and intricacies of the raaga using all kinds of compositions like Jathiswara, Varna, Krithi, Thillana and all aspects of Manodharma Sangitha, along with necessary explanation.
