Mysuru: City will be hosting Rajan-Nagendra Musical event on Nov. 30.
Addressing presspersons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan recently, Ravi Santosh of Rajan-Nagendra Trust, said the programme will be held between 9 am and 9 pm at Kalamandira to raise funds for development of Nimbujadevi Temple in Mysuru. Singers Anuradha Bhat, Ajay Warrier and others who have been trained by Rajan, will perform.
Rajan and Nagendra were prominent music composers in Kannada and Telugu film industries from late 1950s till early 1990s. Rajan, along with his brother Nagendra, created a niche for themselves for nearly four decades.
