Raju (65), a resident of Karekura village in the taluk, passed away yesterday evening at the village. He leaves behind his wife Gayathri, two sons including Star of Mysore taluk reporter Vinay Karekura and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Karekura village this noon.
