Bhajans, yoga, discourse and health camp from Feb. 21 to 26
Mysore/Mysuru: Marking the 188th birth anniversary of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Sri Ramakrishna Seva Sangha, which runs Ramakrishna Vidya Kendra and RKVK Composite PU College on Dakshineshwara Marga, E&F Block, Ramakrishnanagar in the city, will be holding Ramakrishna Jatra Mahotsava at Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Circle at 6 pm on Feb. 26.
As part of the Mahotsava, Rathas from three localities — Ramakrishnanagar, Sharadadevinagar and Vivekanandanagar and also one from Viveka Memorial — will be taken out, all of which will converge on Gadadhar Circle close to Ramakrishna Circle, from where all the four rathas, accompanied by cultural troupes, will pass through ‘Ratha Beedhi’ to reach Ramakrishna Circle, where a grand stage programme will take place. Apart from this, ‘Adhyatmika Chintana-Mantana’ spiritual programme featuring bhajans, yoga, discourse will be held from Feb. 21 to 25 at the Seva Sangha premises between 5 pm and 8 pm.
Also, a free health check-up camp has been organised from Feb. 21 to 26 in association with Suyog Hospital from 10 am to 2 pm on all the days. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2959073.
