Mysuru: In a retort to former MLC G. Madhusudan’s charges that he (Prof. Rangappa) had run away from the open debate at Patrakarthara Bhavan that was scheduled on July 3, former University of Mysore (UoM) and KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.S. Rangappa has said that he need not reply to Go. Madhusudan’s questionnaire.
Speaking to SOM yesterday, Prof. Rangappa wondered whether the former MLC was the boss to him.
Claiming that he had agreed to take part in the open debate organised by the MDJA, Prof Rangappa maintained that he did not attend the debate following MDJA’s stand that such a debate will amount to contempt of Court.
Asserting that he had not run away from the debate as alleged by G. Madhusudan, Prof. Rangappa accused the former MLC of having no respect for the law and Constitution.
Pointing out that he will submit to the Court what all G. Madhusudan had said to the media yesterday, Prof. Rangappa said that he will take part in the open debate if the Court agrees for it.
