The Rangapravesha of S.D. Sneha, a student of Nandana Performing Arts Centre Trust, Mysuru, will be held on Mar.26 at 5.30pm at Jaganmohan Palace here.
Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here on Wednesday, Trust Director Varija Nalige said that Sneha, an M.Tech student of NIE, Mysuru has been practising Bharathanatya for the last 15 years with expertise in all variants.
She further said that K. Ramamurthy Rao, Director, Noopura Kalavidaru Trust would inaugurate the programme with Musician and Art Critic Dr. Padmavathi Narasimhan as the chief guest. The event will be presided over by Dr. Sarvamangala Shankar, Vice-Chancellor, Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University. She added that Guruvandana will be offered to Dr. Vasundhara Doreswamy, Director, VPAC Trust and Krishnaveni.
Sneha was born on Nov.12, 1994 to Doddasiddaiah and Devamma in Hassan. Doddasiddaiah is a Superintending Engineer with PWD in Hassan.
Sneha after doing her B.E. (Civil) from SJCE, Mysuru is currently pursuing M. Tech in Structural Engineering at NIE.
