Artistes of Rangavalli, a city-based amateur theatre troupe, staged the play ‘Blind Shot’ at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises last evening. The play will be restaged at 3.30 pm and 7 pm (two shows) today (Mar.1). ‘Blind Shot’ is a Kannada translation of English play ‘Wait Until Dark,’ written by Frederick Knott. B.P. In search of a musical doll, which is stuffed with drugs and in the process of smuggling, is misplaced at the house of Aravind Hegde (M. Manju), three conmen — Devaraj (B.R. Raghavendra), Anand (Manjunath Shastry) and Tony (Hariprasad Kashyap) — gain entry into Hegde’s house in his absense and try to con Hegde’s wife Anupa (Dhanya Shree), who is visually imapired. The nearly two-hour thriller unfolds how the visually impaired woman fights the three conmen with the help of a little girl, Rosy (M.R. Nesara).
