Bengaluru: ‘Hai Bengaluru’ Editor Ravi Belagere, who was arrested by Bengaluru CCB Police on Dec.8 on changes of giving supari to eliminate his colleague Sunil Heggaravalli, was taken to Victoria Hospital yesterday after the prison doctors found variations in his blood pressures sugar levels and swelling in his legs. After necessary treatment at the hospital, he was taken back to Parappana Agrahara Jail, where he has been lodged since remanded to Judicial custody on Dec. 11.
Meanwhile, the Subramanyapura Police are on the lookout for Belagere’s assistant Madhu in connection with a complaint filed by Heggaravalli that Belagere had threatened him using Madhu’s phone when he was in Police custody.
