Mysuru: “People have money to buy snacks but not books. If you love Kannada, please cultivate the habit of reading Kannada books,” opined legal expert Dr. C.K.N. Raja.
He was speaking on the occasion of Yoga Namana, Kannada Rajyotsava and Felicitation programme organised at NaMo Yoga Bhavana on Ramanuja Road in the city recently.
“We should inculcate the habit of reading. Read at least ten pages per day, preferably Kannada books. We are very good eaters, but we don’t know how to digest it. Physical and mental health both are important,” he added.
Senior Medical Officer Dr. D. Thimmaiah, who also spoke, stressed the importance of health and wellness in today’s world and advised to practice yoga to lead a hassle-free life.
