Sir,
The sewer system in Gayathripuram is faulty and not constructed properly. We face problems daily as the sewer overflows and blocks every time even when there is a little rain.
The residents have consistently raised this issue with the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and our area authorities, but it feels like it has fallen on deaf ears.
We residents have to bear the stench everyday because the sewage water flows on the road and gets stagnant. I have also raised this issue through social media but in vain.
Residents have also filed complaints and is being followed up. Looks like the underground pipeline is faulty and needs reconstruction.
The sewage-filled water is flowing on the road and is causing serious health hazard to the residents, road users and most importantly the children and the elder citizens.
Mysuru boasts itself to be the cleanest city, but this is the condition we are living.
