Mysuru: Prof. C.K.N. Raja, retired Law Professor, University of Mysore, will release ‘Aptha’ a felicitation volume on former KAS Officer K.M. Chandregowda on Oct. 27 (tomorrow) at 5 pm at Rani Bahadur Auditorium, Manasagangothri, Hunsur Road in city.
Prof.M. Krishnegowda, noted humorist, will deliver the felicitation address. Journalist Amshi Prasanna Kumar will be the chief guest. Prof.K. Kalachanne Gowda, Rtd. Principal, Maharaja College, will preside. K.M. Chandregowda Sneha Balaga, Mysuru, will felicitate Chandregowda at the programme.
Profile: K.M. Chandregowda who was born at H. Kodihalli of Mandya taluk, had his collegiate education in Mysuru and served the Government in various capacities as a KAS Officer from 1980 to 2013.
He had served as Tahsildar at Hassan, Sringeri and Hunsur, as Block Development Officer (BDO) at Srirangapatna, as Deputy Director of Food and Civil Supplies at Hassan, Assistant Commissioner at Mysuru, taking Government services to the doorsteps of the common-man. He had also served as MUDA Secretary in Mysuru.
Chandregowda’s felicitation volume ‘Aptha’ has been published by Srikanth of Department of Education and Early Development (DEED), Hunsur.
