Sir,
As the rail traffic is slowly back on track now, I appeal to South Western Railway (SWR) to restart a few more trains on Mysuru – Nanjangud – Chamarajanagar route.
Especially, there is urgent need for a trip between Mysuru – Nanjangud at around 9 pm every day; take a halt at Nanjangud and make the return journey the next day early morning at 6 am.
This will help commuters to catch the Chamundi Express for their onward journey to the State capital and other destinations. It will also considerably cut down the mad rush for Chamarajanagar – SBC train that departs Nanjangud at around 8.10 am every day.
Will the concerned give a thought to this and initiate steps please?
