Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the 115th birth anniversary of Bank Founder late Ammembala Subba Rao Pai, which is celebrated as Canara Bank’s Founder Day, the Canara Bank Regional Office at Nazarbad here had organised a ‘Retail Expo’ at its premises yesterday.
The expo was also held at the Bank’s five cluster branches at Nazarbad, Jayalakshmipuram, Chamaraja Mohalla, Kuvempunagar-2 (New Kantharaj Urs Road) and Yelwal.
Bank officials, marketing officers, vehicle dealers and advocates were also present to explain and clarify doubts pertaining to retail loans — Housing Loan, Vehicle Loan and other retail personal loans — to the customers. On the occasion, grocery kits were distributed to nearly 150 pourakarmikas by the Bank officials. The Retail Expo concluded at 5 pm yesterday and sanction letters were handed over to the prospective borrowers.
Deputy General Manager Mithanthaya, Divisional Managers H.S. Satish, P.S. Umesh and A. Mohammed Ismail and Senior Manager A.P.S. Adhikari were present.
