Mysuru: Prof. V. Jagannatha, Retired ISRO Scientist, Engineer and Research Scholar from Mysuru, has been invited to attend the International Conference on Ground Water Recharge at Brisbane, Australia from November 24 to 27, 2019.
International ground water recharge experts from Australia and Asia will be deliberating on background in ground water, key ground water management issues, case studies, latest updates on ground water management and policy, technologies and research.
A Ph.D Scholar in his early 60s in Climate Resilient Urban Water Security, Jagannatha Venkataramaiah is an active community environmental governance resource person, lake management expert and a trainer for over three decades. He will present a technical paper titled “Climate Resilient Urban Water Security by Recharge Techniques” in the Conference.
Jagannatha, who also served as a ground support Engineer In Charge at ISTRAC ISRO for MARS Mission, has to his credit designed waste water recycling plants for ISRO Centres which are now zero cost eco-models and each of them are already paying back. He is presently President, Federation of Mysuru City Ward Parliament.
