Retired IAS officer Subramanya appointed as CM’s Financial Advisor

Bengaluru: Retired IAS officer S. Subramanya has been  appointed as the Financial Advisor to Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy.

Subramanya, who had served as Principal Secretary (Finance), will play a key role in working out the modalities of the loan waiver scheme announced by the coalition Government.

Subramanya joined the JD(S) soon after taking VRS from civil service. The former IAS offices was also in the reckoning for nomination to the Legislative Council. But he could not make it to the Council as the JD(S) fielded former Legislator S.L. Dharmegowda in the last minute.
