Chamarajanagar: With the SSLC exam that was scheduled to commence from Mar.27 postponed due to COVID-19 lockdown, Primary and Secondary Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar said that a week-long revision classes will be held for students ahead of the exam.
Speaking to presspersons after visiting Punajanur Check Post on Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border on Sunday, Suresh Kumar said that the new SSLC exam time-table will be announced after lockdown ends.
Pointing out that the objective of revision classes will be to prepare the students for exam after a holiday break, he said the classes will be held in all schools.
Maintaining that Delhi’s Nizamuddin Tablighi Jamaat and Nanjangud’s Jubilant Generics cluster cases were responsible for the spike in Coronavirus cases in the State, the Minister hoped that COVID-19 curve would be flattened by Apr.14, when the lockdown is scheduled to end.
