Mysore/Mysuru: As per directions from the Election Commission of India, those who are completing 18 years of age as on January 1, 2021 must enrol their names for voters’ list.
Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G. Sankar has, in a press release, said that they must fill Form-6 online and submit all documents required to nearby Block Level Officer or Assistant Returning Officer for inclusion of names in voters’ list.
Registration of new names, correction and deletion would take place up to Oct. 31. The draft voters’ list would be published on Nov. 16 and objections, if any would be allowed from Nov. 16 to Dec. 15, 2020.
The voters may check details in NVSP portals, Common Service Centres or with BLO or ERO.
