Rider killed as bike hits scooter

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider, who had sustained serious injuries after a bike rammed into the scooter he was riding near Shariff Function Hall in Rajivnagar on Dec. 17 and admitted to a private hospital in city, has succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Syed Hassan, a relative of Udayagiri resident Syed                               Imran Ulla.

On Dec. 17 at about 8.30 pm, Hassan, who was riding a Suzuki Access scooter (KA-55-X-6434), took a right turn near Nandini Parlour Cross, close to Shariff Function Hall on Abdul Rehamania Road in Rajivnagar, when a speeding bike rammed into the scooter from behind, resulting in Hassan sustaining serious injuries. Bike rider too fell down but sustained minor injuries.

Though Hassan was admitted to a private hospital, he succumbed to injuries on Dec. 18 morning at the hospital.

Siddarthanagar Traffic Police have registered a case.
