Mysore/Mysuru: District Minister S.T. Somashekar inaugurated a RO (Reverse Osmosis) pure drinking water plant for the benefit of residents of Vijayanagar 3rd Stage at a programme organised in the locality today.
The Minister also performed guddali puja for a slew of development works in Vijayanagar 3rd and 4th Stages, coming under Chamundeshwari Assembly segment, totally worth Rs. 2.35 crore.
The works include: Re-asphalting of roads in A-1 Block of Vijayanagar 3rd Stage at a cost of Rs.25 lakh; Re-asphalting of roads in B Block of Vijayanagar 3rd Stage at a cost of Rs.25 lakh; Construction of drainage and other civic works at A-1Block in Vijayanagar 3rd Stage at a cost of Rs.25 lakh; Re-asphalting of roads at C Block in Vijayanagar 3rd Stage; Construction of protective wall to the big storm water drain near Subramanyanagar at A-1 Block in Vijayanagar 3rd Stage at a cost of Rs.25 lakh; Construction of storm water and underground drainages in Hinkal Survey No.257 coming under Vijayanagar 3rd Stage at a cost of Rs.49 lakh; Underground drainages improvisation works at C Block in Vijayanagar 3rd Stage at a cost of Rs.25 lakh; Park No.4 development works in First Phase of Vijayanagar 4th Stage at a cost of Rs.25 lakh; Development and maintenance of parks coming under Vijayanagar 3rd Stage, at a cost of Rs.11 lakh.
