Sir,
I am a resident of Bogadi Bank Colony, off the Ring Road. We the residents were excited and our pleasure knew no bounds when suddenly last week a huge road roller came to our colony where the roads have been in an utterly miserable condition since more than 18 years !
The octopus hands of the roller started digging out the rocks from one end of the 4th Main road to another.
And lo! that is it ! The next day the roller is gone and the work is discontinued. Now the road is in terrible mess with all the stones dug out. The single bus route (79c) has also been stopped.
Even walking is impossible in the road. Well, why this punishment for us ?
Can’t the concerned authorities do something ? Rather we were quite fine with the previous shabby condition. Why this lethargy and carelessness ?
