Mysore/Mysuru: BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh held a mega road show in Chamaraja Constituency on Thursday in support of the party candidate L. Nagendra.
The road show, which commenced from Prabha theatre in the heart of the city, passed through Mandi Mohalla’s K.T. Street, Irwin Road, Nehru Circle (Head Post Office Junction), Ashoka road and Big Clock Tower before culminating at Gandhi Square. Arun Singh, who stood along with Chamaraja BJP candidate Nagendra and other BJP leaders atop an open vehicle, waved at the crowds all along the mega road show.
Addressing the crowds, Arun Singh said that the BJP was certain to retain power in the State. Accusing the Congress of making false promises, he cited the example of Rajasthan where the Congress is in power, of not fulfilling any of its poll promises. He appealed the electorate to vote for party candidate Nagendra in order to carry out the development works and to strengthen the hands of PM Modi. Police had made elaborate security arrangements.
MPVL Chairman Raghu Kautilya, ZAK Chairman M. Shivakumar, leaders Somashekar Raju, M.J. Kirankumar Gowda, Chowdappa, Prashanthgowda, Girish, Puneeth, Dinesh, Harish and others were present.
