Rotary Ivory City Mysuru fetes budding singers

Mysuru: Rotary Ivory City Mysuru recently felicitated young singers who helped the Club in its fund-raising programme ‘O. P. Nayyar Musical Nite.’

Dr. C. Umesh Kamath, connoisseur of music and former Organising Chairperson of ‘Geeth Gaatha Chal’ was the guest of honour. Speaking on the occasion, he showered praise on the quality of the programme that touched the hearts of all in the auditorium; laying emphasis on the selection and sequencing of the songs.

He observed that all the youngsters, Shabbir, Ashwin, Ankita, Rashmi, Jyanthi, Mamata have very bright future ahead.

Dr. Umesh Kamath further stated that Kamakshi Hospital would join hands with Rotary Ivory City Mysuru in reaching out to the poor and needy in medical services, particularly in ‘Save a Child’ programme where congenital disorders in children are surgically corrected.
