Mysuru: As part of Disease Prevention and Treatment Month by Rotary Mysore, Rotarians and their family members visited the Himalayan Salt Crystal Cave at Vijay Foundation in Hebbal here recently.

Dr. B.R. Pai of Vijay Foundation, who himself is a Wellness Expert, explained about various salt products, structured water devices and the cutting-edge Healing Centre with Alternate Therapies integrating traditional Indian, Eastern, Western and New Age.

The Salt Crystal Cave is covered with salt on its four walls as well as the roof and floor. This salt is from the Himalayas and is unique as it leads to positive health. The salt products on display could be used for consumption as well as for increased energy levels, improved breathing and good sleep, thereby reducing stress.

Rotarians and their families had a real-time feel of a new system of health and wellness, which is absolutely essential in today’s stressful environment.

On the occasion, monthly newsletter  ‘The Wellness Way’ was released by the seniormost Rotarian Rtn. PDG R. Vasudeva Murthy along with Rotary Mysore President Rtn. G.S. Sumeeth, Secretary Rtn Ramachandra Raje Urs and Rtn.  Dr. B.R. Pai.
