Mysore/Mysuru: Maintaining that success is a product of constant hard work and dedication, Swami Muktidanandaji, President, Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, said that education is not just about scoring marks but also acquisition of values.
He was speaking as chief guest at Rotary Mysore Midtown Trinity Academic Excellence Award conferment programme organised by Rotary Mysore Midtown, at Rotary Centre, JLB Road, here on Wednesday.
Pointing out that success is not self-generated, Swami Muktidanandaji observed that a person who treads the path of hard work alone can succeed in life and clarity and dedication is the only way for achievement. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, the Swamiji said knowledge is a priceless asset and achievement comes only from that.
S. Ajay (621/625 marks in SSLC), who studied at Yeraganahalli Government High School and Rohith Kalyanpur (592/600 marks in PUC) were conferred ‘Rotary Mysore Midtown Trinity Academic Excellence Award’ on the occasion.
