Nanjangud: The famed Srikanteshwaraswamy temple at Nanjangud has recorded a hundi collection of Rs.2.04 crore, in the latest counting.
The counting of 35 hundis collection in the temple was taken up at the temple’s Dasoha Bhavan on Friday, during which Rs. 2,04,98,214 in cash, 82.2 grams of gold jewellery, 4.3 kgs of silver jewellery and articles and 24 foreign currencies were found.
The hundi collection counting was held under the supervision of Muzrai Tahsildar Vidyalatha, Temple EO Jagadish Kumar, Assistant EO Satish, Accountant Gurumallaiah, Bank of Baroda Nanjangud Branch Manager Sangadev and other officials.
