As part of International Sports Day, the Alumni Association of University of Mysore Sportspersons, has organised M. Vijaykumar memorial running race contest-2023 for boys and girls on Aug. 29. The running race will be launched in front of Lions Club of Mysore Central in Oval grounds and from the University Sports Pavilion, at 6.30 am on Aug. 29. The running race distance is 3 kms for boys and 2 kms for girls.
The contest is open for boys and girls in the age group of 12 and 16 years. The first 500 registered participants will be distributed T-Shirts. There will be six prizes (for both boys and girls) with the first prize being Rs.6,000, second- Rs.5,000, third – Rs.4,000, fourth – Rs.3,000, fifth – Rs. 2,000 and sixth-Rs.1,000.
