Rural women get sewing machines

Mysuru: Vijay Foundation has been conducting tailoring classes for rural women in and around Jettihundi  village for the last ten years under its rural activities. Till date, 75 women have undergone this free training and 55 ladies have availed free sewing machines.

This year too 12 women were trained for four months and they received the sewing machines donated by Mysore Amity Ladies Circle-108 and  Mysore Ladies Circle-9 on the occasion of Women’s Day at Jettihundi village.

Prathiba Pai, Trustee of the Foundation, IPC Cr. Pooja Ranga, Chairperson Cr. Smriti Manoj, Cr. Sampada Sheetal and Project Convenor Cr. Nishath, members of Mysore Amity Ladies Circle-108; Cr. Savita Ranga and Cr. Pooja Harish of Mysore Ladies Circle-9  were present on the occasion.
