Russian Professors laud Women’s Engineering College in city

Mysuru:  Two Russian Professors from Moscow State University, who attended the second International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT-2017) at  GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, here recently, lauded the efforts of the Institute in organising such an event with good number of  paper presentations.

Dr. Mestetskiy Leonid, Professor, Department of Intelligent System, Lomonosov, Moscow State University, emphasised in his talk on the importance of such conferences to bridge the gap between Industry, Academics and Research. He advised the participants to be unique by gaining the state-of-the-art skills for a successful professional life.

Dr. Archil Maysuradz, Professor, Department of Intelligent System, Lomonosov, Moscow State University, Russia, gave his insights on the importance of conducting such conferences. He suggested that there are three key needs namely People, Process and Technology for projecting any innovative idea.

Nearly 300 scholarly papers from different parts of the world were received. Through rigorous Triple blind review and recommendation of the reviewers 176 quality scholarly submissions were selected for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

Authors from India, Brazil, Columbia, China, Iran and United Arab Emirates, students, research scholars and faculty members from Engineering Colleges and Universities in India and abroad participated in this Conference. Dr. M. Shivakumar, Dean (Academics), GSSSIETW welcomed, according to a press release from Assistant Professor U. Mahanthesh of   Department of EIE.
