S. Krishnamurthy’s centenary celebration in a unique way

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the centenary celebrations of Sangeetha Kalaratna S. Krishnamurthy, Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha has organised ‘Tribute through his Literature, Music & Dance’ by Shankarabharanam troupe from Bengaluru, headed by Sangeetha Vidyanidhi S. Shankar, on July 16 at 6 pm.

S. Krishnamurthy (SKM), grandson of Mysore K. Vasudevacharya, was deft in the fine arts. He was a Composer, Choreographer, Musicologist  and a Writer, Orator and what not. He served as Station Director of AIR wherein he got an opportunity to prove his versatile creativity. It is indeed in place to celebrate this celebrity.

The initiative is taken by another humble, devoted creative artiste Vid. S. Shannkar through his troupe Shankarabharanam, a young multi-talented artistes. He will take audience through SKM’s life through documentary, literature, music and dance.
