Senior leader S.M. Krishna, who joined the BJP recently, will hit the campaign trail in poll-bound Nanjangud and Gundlupet Assembly segments, in the first week of April.
As per a schedule worked out by former Dy.CM R. Ashok, Krishna will address a press meet in Mysuru on Apr. 5 and campaign for the BJP candidate in Nanjangud on Apr. 6 and in Gundlupet on Apr. 7.
However, Krishna is unlikely to take part in the massive rallies organised by the party in Nanjangud on Apr. 2 and in Gundlupet on Apr. 3, in which Opposition Leader Jagadish Shettar, senior leader K.S. Eshwarappa and other top leaders will take part.
