Mysuru: As part of its 18th anniversary, city’s People For People (PFP) organisation will be organising ‘Sahasra Seva Utsav’ at J.K. Grounds in city tomorrow (Aug. 13).
Announcing this at a press meet here on Thursday, former MLC G. Madhusudan said that the organisation had been in social service since 1998.
Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will inaugurate the programme at 10 am on Aug.13.
MLA Vasu, Journalist Hariprakash Konemane will be the chief guests, he said and added that members of a host of service organisations including Pinjrapole Society, Sumati Nath Jain Nav Yuvak Mandal, Bharatiya Jain Sangha and Humane Touch will be felicitated on the occasion.
He further said that more than 35 Ashrams will be distributed essential supplies.
PFP office-bearers N. Vittal, Ravi Prakash, Jayaprakash, Gautam Salecha and others were present during the press meet.
