Mysore/Mysuru: As part of ‘Azaadi Se Swaraj’ National -level campaign, the Janandolanagala Mahamythri (JMM), Karnataka in association with Citizen for Democracy (CFD) and Janatantra Prayoga Shaale (JPS), will take out Samaja Parivartan Satyagraha Yatra from Kudalasangama to Bengaluru from Jan. 2 to 11.
The Yatra which starts from Kudalasangama in Bagalkot district, will pass through Bagalkot, Nargund, Navalgund, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Davangere, Chitradurga and Tumkur before concluding in Bengaluru on Jan. 11, where a massive rally is planned at Freedom Park at 10 am.
The Yatra is aimed to seek fulfilment of various demands like abolition of newly introduced three farm laws, legal backing for Minimum Support Price, framing of a farmer friendly crop procurement policy, withdrawal of electricity bill-2022 hike in wages under MGNREGA Scheme, curbing of rising inflation, unemployment and cost of living, dropping privatisation plans of profit making public sector units, prevention of atrocities against dalits, women and other oppressed sections of society etc.,
This apart, Bhavaikyata Yatra (Communal harmony) will be taken out from Mangaluru to Bengaluru from Jan. 5 to 11, a Massive Land Conservation Jatha from Kusanur to Davangere from Jan. 7 to 9 and Samvidhana Rakshane Jatha (Protection of Constitution) from Kolar to Bengaluru from Jan. 9 to 11.
