Mysuru: ‘Samarpan’, a bi-annual (half-yearly) newsletter published by the NSS unit of the University of Mysore (UoM) has been recognised as ‘The Best Newsletter’ by the Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI).
By bagging the award, the UoM has earned the distinction of being the first Indian University to win such an award.
Chief Editor of Edition 4, Volume-1 and the then UoM NSS Co-ordinator Dr. K. Kalachannegowda and the current Newsletter Editor and Student Welfare Officer Dr. J. Lohith will receive the award at a function to take place at Taj Hotel in Mumbai on Dec.22, marking the ABCI’s 57th Annual Prize Distribution ceremony.
