Mysuru: Fourteen books published by Samvahana Prakashana were released at a function held at Rajendra Bhavan in JSS Hospital premises here on Mar.12.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies (KIKS) Director Dr. Nilagiri M. Talawar opined that Mysore University should organise debates on books useful to society for the benefit of students. He added that such meaningful discussions would also improve the knowledge of students.
Addressing the gathering, Mysore University VC Dr. G. Hemantha Kumar recalled that Rashtrakavi Kuvempu used to give utmost importance for Prasaranga. He expressed happiness in a sharp increase of bibliophiles in recent times.

Rajendraprasad, ‘Navami Mallara Dhibba’ by Dr. H.S. Rudresh, ‘Basava Mattu’ by Dr. Sarju Katkar, ‘Mugiyada Munnadi’ by Dr. C. Naganna, ‘Olegarigala Siriyallli’ by Dr. Y.C.
