Mysore/Mysuru: A three-day Sanchalana Theatre Festival has been organised at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises from Mar. 15 to 17, under the aegis of Sanchalana Mysuru, a city-based theatre troupe.
The Fest will be inaugurated at 6 pm today (Mar. 15) in the presence of Commercial Tax Department Dy. Commissioner Sridhar Nayak, Rangayana Mysuru Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy and young theatre director Somashekar Sira. Valedictory will be held at 6 pm on Mar. 17 which will be attended by journalist Vishalakshi Akki, All India Youth Federation (AIYF) President Harish Bala and former CADA Member D.C. Kanta Kumar.
As part of the Fest, following plays will be staged at 6 pm:
Mar. 15: Staging of play ‘Avantarada Aliya’ by Yavanika theatre troupe, Mysuru. Writer: Belur Krishnamurthy; Director: Anurag.
Mar. 16: Play ‘Krishna Paksha’ by Niranthara Foundation, Mysuru. Script: Somashekar Sira; Director: M.M. Suguna.
