Mysuru: Santro Ravi and his accomplices 45-year-old Ramji and 35-year-old Satish Kumar, who were arrested by Mysuru Police in Ahmedabad and remanded to judicial custody, have been handed over to the CID Police.
The CID Police team, led by Dy.SP Narasimhamurthy, submitted an application seeking custody of all the three accused yesterday for further questioning and the Judge, who heard their plea, handed over Santro Ravi and two others to CID custody till Jan. 30.
The Special Police team arrested the accused trio on Jan. 13 and brought to Mysuru on Jan. 14. On Saturday evening, Judge S. Gururaj remanded them to 14 days judicial custody.
After the State Government transferred the case to CID, the 6th Additional District and Sessions Court extended the judicial custody of all the three till Jan. 25.
Sources said that after CID took custody of all the three accused, they were taken to K.R. Hospital for medical examination and later to Bengaluru.
