Mysuru: Sapient College of Commerce and Management, Vijayanagar, conducted Sapientia 19, their first Inter-College National Cultural and Annual Academic Management Fest in city recently.
Sapientia’s first Inter-College National Cultural Fest on Day-1 was inaugurated by University of Mysore (UoM) Registrar Prof. Rajanna. Over 12 teams from various cities across the State participated in the Fest. The winners are as follows:
Solo Singing – Vishnu from Amrita University; Solo Dance – J. Arun from Philomena’s College; Group Dance – St. Joseph’s College, Bengaluru and Fashion Show – MICA College.
Sapientia’s Annual Management Fest on Day-2 was inaugurated by UoM Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar.
In all, 15 Colleges across Karnataka took part in the Management event competitions in various areas namely Strategem (Corporate Strategy), Empresario (Entrepreneurship Development), Finesta (Financial Management), METTEL (HR), Ensnare (Marketing), Quibble (Business Quiz), Picturesque (Photography).
Jain University, Bengaluru, team grabbed the ‘Overall Championship’ after an intense competition.
The two-day fest concluded with a massive celebration at Open Air Theatre, with the performance by Kanan Gill, an Indian Standup Comedian and Prateek Kuhad, an Indian singer-songwriter and a musician.
President of Sapient Education Trust, Prabhuram Choudhary, felicitated the awardees. The winners in each category were awarded with a trophy and cash prize at the valedictory function.
