Geetha Shishu Shikshana Sangha (GSS), Mysuru, a premier education society, was founded by the great educationist and visionary, late Prof. B.S. Pandit, Founder-Secretary, GSSS. In his fond memory, B.S. Pandit Memorial Concert ‘Saraswati’ is being organised by GSSS every year during Kartika Masa since 2019, in GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) campus, KRS Road, Mysuru. This year, GSSS, Mysuru, is organising B.S. Pandit Memorial Concert ‘Saraswati’ at M. Govinda Rao Memorial Auditorium, GSSSIETW on KRS Road on Nov. 27 and 28 at 6.30 pm.
Nov. 27: Bharatanatyam recital by Natyarani Shanthala awardee Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy along with her team — Nanda Kumar Unnikrishnan – Vocal, Sandesh Bhargav – Natuvanga, H.L. Shivashankaraswamy – mridanga, Krishna Prasad – Flute and Pradeshacharya – Violin.
Nov. 28: Karnatak Music Concert by T.M. Krishna with his team — Akkarai Subhalakshmi – Violin, N.C. Bharadwaj – Mridanga and Giridhar Udupa – Ghata.
Bus facility is available from different parts of Mysuru city. Bus routes are as follows: 1. Sri Krishnadhama, T.K. Layout; 2. Ganabharathi, Kuvempunagar; 3. Sri Nadabramha Sangeetha Sabha, JLB Road, Lakshmipuram; 4. Javaregowda Park, Saraswathipuram; 5. Auto Stand, Ramaswamy Circle; 6. Vontikoppal, near Temple; 7. GSSS School, Siddarthanagar. Pickup at 4.15 pm and drop trip approximately at 9 pm.
