Karnataka Sarvodaya Mandala, Bengaluru, in association with Amara Baapu Chintana (Kannada & English Bi-Monthly), has organised a State-level Essay and Letter Writing competitions on Jan. 30 (Sarvodaya Day) marking the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Topic for the essay to be written in Kannada is ‘Sarvodaya Samaja Srushtiya Sadyategalu – Ondu Vishleshane’ and ‘Gandhige ondu patra’ (A letter to Gandhi) should be written in connection to the Gandhian thoughts and present day situation and challenges. Letter should be handwritten and participants must compulsorily use Inland Letters available at the Post Offices. For essay, participants must use A4 size sheets and write maximum three pages.
All the participants will get e-certificates. Selected essays/ letters will be published in Amara Baapu Chintana. The contest is open for those aged 15 to 30 years.
