Mysuru lad G. Manish, a student of Saipent PU College, Vijayanagar, Mysuru, taking part in the SAT Sports-AITA CS U-18 Boys Tennis Tournament at Hennur, Bengaluru yesterday entered the finals in the U-18 boys singles event.
In the U-18 boys singles semi-finals, G. Manish beat Adarsh Arun 9-3 and entered the title round.
In the quarter-finals, Manish got the better of Arjun Sriram 9-8 (7-2). In the pre-quarterfinals, Manish scored a well-earned win over P. Vishal Reddy 8-4. In the second round Manish beat Vidwan 8-3 and in the first round scored a convincing 8-3 win over Ashwin M. Bhat.
