DC asks departments concerned to prepare action plan
Mysuru: A progress review meeting of Scheduled Castes Sub Plan (SCSP) and Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) budget allocations and expenditure for the month of May, 2017, chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) D. Randeep, was held at his office here this morning.
Zilla Panchayat (ZP) CEO P. Shivashankar, providing information to the DC said that out of 33 departments, 17 departments were allocated funds by the State sector for which the departments concerned were to prepare action plan. DC Randeep asked the heads of those departments which have been granted funds to prepare action plans and submit the same to him by this month end.
Meanwhile, PWD officials informed the DC that they had prepared the action plan for which the DC asked them to call for tenders and submit a report.
The officials of other departments also provided information about the funds allotted to them and the expenditure to the DC.
Exclusive website of SCSP and TSP being developed: ZP CEO
ZP CEO Shivashankar, speaking to Star of Mysore said that an exclusive website of SCSP and TSP was being developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), for the public to review the works and its progress.
He said that the website would be linked to the District Administration website and the public would get all information pertaining to SCSP and TSP.
