A new science outreach programme called ‘Science Sanje’ has been jointly organised by Kalasuruchi, Kutuhali – the Science Communication, Popularisation and Extension initiative of Government of India’s Vigyan Prasar and the Karnataka Science and Technology Academy, Bengaluru. ‘Science Sanje’ programme will be inaugurated by science writer and Doordarshan presenter Dr. Na. Someshwara on July 9 at 6 pm at Suruchi Rangamane in Kuvempunagar.
Eminent scientists will give lectures on their researches. ‘Science Sanje’ programmes will be in Kannada and scheduled on the evening of second Saturday of every month. It aims to convey scientific concepts in simple Kannada, thus providing an opportunity for Mysureans to get a closer look at the happenings of scientific world.
