Mysore/Mysuru: The second PUC Supplementary exam (2019-20) began at 12 centres across the district today, with all COVID-19 precautionary and safety measures in place. In city, there are three centres — Maharani’s PU College on N.S. Road, Maharaja’s College on JLB Road and D. Banumaiah’s College on Sayyaji Rao Road.
On the first day today, Sanskrit and Urdu papers were held in the morning session (10.15 am to 1.30 pm) and NSQF and Home Science subjects in the afternoon session (2.15 pm to 5.30 pm).Only a total of 12 students had registered for Sanskrit and Urdu papers at the city centres, out of which 11 appeared for the exam, according to DDPUE Geetha.
The exam, which is taking place in two shifts, morning and afternoon, will conclude on Sept.18.
The City Police has clamped prohibitory orders under Section 144 of Cr.PC in 200 mts radius around all the three exam centres from 6 am to 6 pm on all days of the supplementary exam, which concludes on Sept.18. Accordingly, all photocopy shops in the vicinity of the exam centres have been asked to shut down.
