Mysuru: A one-day training workshop on how to make Cooperative Organisations proactive and steps to be taken to develop them was conducted for the Secretaries and Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of various Cooperative Organisations at the Auditorium of District Cooperative Union on Chamaraja Double Road here recently.
The training was organised jointly by Karnataka State Co-operative Federation Ltd., Mysuru District Cooperative Union, MyMUL and Department of Cooperation where 80 Secretaries and CEOs of Cooperative Organisations participated.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mysuru District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Societies’ Union Limited (MyMUL) President P.M. Prasanna.
Speaking on the occasion he pointed out that Co-operative sector has already made significant progress and this is achieved because of the efforts and selfless service of the members working in this sector.
However, to achieve more, the role of Secretaries and CEOs are more important, he said and called upon them to formulate programmes for the development of Cooperative sector.
MyMUL Director Umashankar also spoke on the occasion. Mysuru District Cooperation Federation Vice-President B.N. Dayanand, Director K. Eregowda, MyMUL Director Leela, B.K. Nagaraju, S.C. Ashok and others attended the programme.
