To be dispersed at fire-ravaged Bandipur Forest
Mysuru: As part of World Environment Day celebrations, Yi Disha in association the Anne Karoti ECF organised a Seed Ball Drive at Capitol Public School in Saraswathipuram recently. Simultaneously, Yi Mysore also launched their new Vertical Project Disha.
Around 250 students and teachers attended the event and approximately 5,000 seed balls were prepared at the event. These seed balls will be dispersed at the fire-ravaged Bandipur Forest area on a later date.
The event was attended by Capitol Public School Principal Annie Joseph, Yi Mysore Chapter Chair Ghanshyam Murali, Chapter Co-chair Dr. Pradeep Manjunath, Yi Disha Chair Smita Tom and K. Sharath of Anne Karoti ECF.
Young Indians (Yi) is a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India’s future as an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, non-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India’s development process.
Anne Karoti ECF is a Trust that work towards conserving the Ecology and Wildlife.
Yi Disha was initiated by Yi Mysore to provide basic life-skill tools to students between the age group of 12 years to 18 years.
