Mysuru: Seeking plans for conservation of local breed cows, Seers belonging to various Mutts launched a campaign by writing petitions in blood, at Hosmutt in city yesterday.
The writing in blood campaign is supplementary to Sri Ramachandrapura Mutt Seer’s campaign launched a couple of months ago to demand cow slaughter ban and to evolve plans for local cattle breed protection.
Speaking on the occasion, Hosmutt Seer Chidananda Swamiji said that India is the only country where cow is worshipped and as such it was very essential that a ban on cow slaughter is implemented strictly.
Tripura Bhairavi Mutt’s Krishamohananda Giri Goswamiji, Neelakanta Mutt’s Siddamalla Swamiji, Savita Samaja Seer Srikara Basavananda Swamiji, Melukote Vangipura Mutt’s Ilai Alwar Swamiji, Social activist K.
