Mysuru: The branch of Mohan Bhandar Super Market on Vishwamanava Double Road in Saraswathipuram here has resumed business form Aug.18.
Vijaya Bank officials armed with an order from the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Bengaluru, had seized the complex housing Mohan Bhandar on July 4 as the owner of the complex had allegedly defaulted on repayment of loans availed by mortgaging the complex.
Speaking to Star of Mysore, Proprietor of Mohan Bhandar Sandeep said that hhe hadapproached the High Court urging to allow them to continue with their business as they had nothing to do with the loan default.
He further said that the High Court had permitted them to re-open the Super Market and added that it has been functioning from Aug.18.
