Lecturer and writer Dr. Umesh Bevinahalli of Bevinahalli in T. Narasipur taluk, has been selected for ‘Vikasa Shri’ award instituted by Karnataka Rajya Vokkaligara Vikasa Vedike, in consideration of his service to the Literary and educational fields. The award will be conferred during the K.H. Ramaiah Jayantyotsava celebrations to be held in Mysuru on July 12.
