Mysuru: Sri Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna Seva Balaga will be giving away Sangolli Rayanna Seva Awards for achievers in various fields on the occasion of Sangolli Rayanna’s 219th Jayanthotsava.
The awards will be presented by Corporator B.M. Nataraj and BJP Raitha Morcha Secretary Mallappagowda at a function to be organised on Aug. 14 at Tagaduru Ramachandra Park in Chamundipuram at 10 am. Kaginele Peetha Seer Sri Shivanandapuri Swamiji will grace the occasion. Former Minister C.H. Vijayashankar will preside.
The award winners are Dr. Ramachandrappa (Medical), Dr. Nagaraj (Medical), Mahadev (Journalism), D.T. Prakash (Social and Co-operative Work), Dhanyakumar (Yoga), Chinnamballi Mahadevu (Politics), Nanjappa (Industrialist), Kumar (Industrialist), V. Srinivas Rao (Food) and Subbanna (Co-operatives).
